- Measure, don’t guess how much sod you need
- Remove old grass and any weeds
- Prepare soil beforehand
- Make sure soil is moist prior to installation
- After installation, roll over pallets with a hand roller
- Call ahead to reserve sod
- Sod should be installed 36 hours after harvest
- Rake ground before sodding
- Lay the first pallet along a straight line, such as a driveway or sidewalk
- Place pallets tightly together
